For years upon years we have been told to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. And for some reason, the magic number of 8 should also be the number of ounces in that glass we drink. This has become known as the 8 by 8 rule, but the funny thing about it is that no one knows where it came from. No one knows who came up with this rule and no one is even quite sure of why we should follow it other than the usual water is good for you spiel.

Although you may be able to readily spot dry skin once it has appeared, you may not know what the causes are, and when you know what causes dry skin to appear, you can be a more proactive participant in your skin care.

However, there are times when certain conditions creep up on you without you even noticing. One of these conditions is Glaucoma. So what exactly is Glaucoma? Glaucoma is a really nasty group of eye diseases which sneak up on us and rob us of our sight before we even know what has happened.
Our eyes are extremely sensitive and fragile, and the slightest thing could cause them to not function properly. Many people do not realize that their work environment could be contributing to causing several eye problems. Most of us spend at least half of our lives working and so it makes sense that if we do not look after ourselves at work, our health could seriously suffer, including our eyes.
Looking after your hands may sound simple, however most people do not bother spending that extra little bit of time required for taking care of them. Have you ever seen a woman with a hair color you absolutely loved—you asked her what color it was, she told you and you went right out and bought the same color. You applied it according to directions—and your hair looked completely wrong. I’ve learned the hard way that unless I have similar skin tone to the woman wearing the color I love, I will save myself a lot of grief if I just complement her on her great color, and let it go.
