Zenerx is a product designed to treat the very contemporary problem of male sexual performance with some very ancient ingredients. The issue of impotence or erectile dysfunction (ED) was a taboo topic until quite recently, when television commercials for prescription drugs suddenly began appearing within the past decade. Nevertheless, the problem of male impotence must not be new, as natural treatments for ED have been known for more than two millennia.
When looking for a more natural, less chemical treatment for male virility troubles, the manufacturers of Zenerx turned to herbal and botanical ingredients and the found that many of them had been known and utilized for a long time. For example, Epimedium Grandiflorum, known colloquially as "horny goat weed" has been used for more than 2,000 years to help male sexual performance, increase energy and assist in relaxation. The reason why this time-proven aphrodisiac is so effective in treating impotence is that it contains several flavonoids, one of which, icariin, functions in very much the same way as well-known prescription drugs that work as a cGMP-specific PDE5 inhibitor to help improve male erections.
Another ingredient in Zenerx is an extract of the herb Tribulus terrestris. Clinical studies have proven this botanical contains protodioscin, which works not only to boost the male sex drive; it also is good for women's symptoms of menopause. One test of Triulus terrestris involved a group of men who complained of a variety of sexual dysfunctions. These subjects, ranging in age from 22 to 67, were given the herbal ingredient three times per day. Nearly every one of the patients reported an increase in libido as well as boosted confidence in their sexual prowess. More than 75% reported improved erections and 25% of the men said they could prolong their intercourse longer before ejaculation.
The root of the Eurycoma longifolia tree, known as "long jack root" has been known for its ability to treat fatigue, low libido and ED for hundreds of years. A further benefit to this ingredient is that it contains superoxide dimutase, an enzyme that works as an anti-oxidant to counteract the effects of free radicals. Other compounds in the root have been proven to increase a man's level of testosterone, which assists in sexual desire and performance.
It was the ancient Inca warriors of Peru who were first reported to use Maca root, the extract of which also does into Zenerx. They and men across South America were known to take maca to give them more endurance and strength before going into battles. Even today it is used for boosting sexual desire and increasing male reproductive health.
