Solution For You Weight Loss Plateau

Everything started off so well. You started changing the way you eat to a more balanced nutrious diet. Then you began exercising and the fat started to drop off. But suddenly it all halted when you thought everything went well. You may wonder what was happening to your weight loss program now. You’ll think anything and take everything that might be helpful in your weight loss program. This article helps you realized where and what really went wrong.

What really happened? When you changed the way you eat by reducing your calorie intake slightly and started exercising, you were burning more calories than your body was taking in hence the initial fat loss. And now when your body is smaller you are still burning the same amount of calories that you are taking in and therefore not losing any extra fat. You are just maintaining. Is that really so?

What do you do now? There are two easy options. Achieving these options can help you avoid hitting a weight loss plateau. These are:

Be careful in reducing your calorie intake again. Don’t restrict it too much. If you restrict it too much your body will go into starvation mode. This will not help and it will only store those calories as fat and this will make the scenario even worst. Aim to reduce your calorie intake by about 20%. Certainly you should take no more than this.

Increase the amount of physical activity you are doing. Also change your daily physical routine. This gives the idea that your body has adapted to the routine you were doing previously and has a tendency that your body is used to the daily routine and burns the same amount of fat all over. So you now need to give some extra spice either by picking up the intensity with some interval training or changing your weight training routine so that you’ll burn more fats when you gain extra weight.

Through these 2 easy options you should be able to get your body burning that excess fat again and say goodbye to that plateau. Keeping an eye on your measurements is recommended so that you know if you have hit a plateau early. In this way you’ll be able to burn those fats successfully or otherwise you’ll waste weeks of effort before you have even realized.
