Usually people like to landscape their back gardens first as it is away from prying eyes and that helps to create a peaceful, private place to relax. However, sometimes it can be just as nice to landscape your front yard to make it pleasing to both you and your guests.

First impressions are often everything and when a visitor comes to your home they see the state that it is in as a reflection on you and your own personality. So, if you want to create the best impression possible, having a well kept and beautifully landscaped garden will really make all of the difference.
Firstly flowers are always a good addition. They make a house look homely, they add color and they also look impressive. Having at least one flowerbed at the side of a path will go down really well and you should find that your guests admire it every time that they pass it. So, try and add a collection of different colors and ensure that the flowers match your own personality. Also you need to make sure that you take care of them really well, otherwise they will simply droop and die and it would have been a complete waste of time and money purchasing and planting them.
Trees and Porches
An amazing addition to any garden is a tree. Now trees come in a variety of different types and sizes and it is important to get the balance right when choosing a tree for you. You do not want to purchase a tree which is too big and at the same time you do not want to purchase one which is too small.
Having a tree on either side of your porch is an excellent idea as it really adds an impressive look to it. Trees truly are impressive though there are also some disadvantages to some. For example, some trees lose their leaves and they could fall on walkways which could make them extremely slippery. So, watch out for this and ensure that the trees are not overlapping any walkways to make it as safe as possible.
Finally, decorating your front porch is a great way to add a little something to the overall landscape. You could possibly place a bench within it depending entirely upon its size. Also, you could again add some plants within it to make it look a little more welcoming. Whatever you do decide to do, always give it plenty of time and thought to amek sure that you are making the right decision.
