The New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) is just around the corner and already and car manufacturers are gearing up for the chance to show the auto world what they have developed. Among the vehicles that will surely crop up at the event are concept vehicles. Different car manufacturers have already announced that they would be unveiling their concept cars at the largest motor show in the United States.
General Motors Corp. Vice Chairman Bob Lutz earlier introduced a prototype right-hand-drive HUMMER H3. Hyundai, the fast-rising Korean automaker, confirmed last Monday the launch of its very first premium car in the United States late in 2008. Matthias Jeschke, the German off road enthusiast who made the first High Altitude World Record in 2005 aboard a Toyota Land Cruiser has once again set up a new record-breaking high altitude. This time, Jeschke and his team successfully made the high altitude world record in March 13th using two standard Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 3.

Recently, Nissan Europe reported their sales for the month of February in the continent. The Asian brand reported sales of 32,468 units for the second month of 2007 and this is a decrease of four percent compared to February 2006. Year to date sales are also down by 5.3 percent for the Japanese brand.

Fort Oglethorpe Kiwanis was recently given the privilege to take a glimpse at the two unrestored World War II Ford Jeeps from 1944 and 1945 at the Sixth Cavalry Museum. If there’s one thing that Chrysler--- maker of Jeep vehicles and Jeep auto parts such as Jeep fuel pump--- can boast of is its ability to produce a hit vehicle in times when everybody thought that all hopes are gone for the automaker. There could never be a much perfect timing for the creation of the Chrysler 300 sedan.
